Our Story

When we say family owned and operated...we mean it.

In 1987, Master Electrician Bryan Chalou and his wife, Business Manager Sandy Chalou, started B's Electric LLC. Their son, Rollie Chalou, worked with the company through junior high and high school, joining as a full time apprentice in 2001, earning his Master's license in 2008. Rollie now manages the Bay City location as well as oversees the entire B Secure division. Their daughter Kellie Parker, painted the shop buildings during the summers of her high school years. After graduating from college she joined B's Electric in 2011 as Sales and Services coordinator.

But the family ties don't stop with the Chalou family…not at all.

Considered our Texan cousin, Michael Bach, joined B's Electric in 1998 and is our longest tenured employee. With over 30 years experience in the electrical industry Mike (or "Mach" coming from his majestic Texas drawl) is a customer favorite.

Bill Phillips joined B's Electric in 2003. Bill specializes in taking the lead on jobs for our industrial and agricultural customers. The dust on his coveralls are a badge of honor. Bill's son Ray Phillips joined B's Electric in 2012 to help assist in both the Electrical and Security divisions.

James Jackson joined the company in 2005. Having grown up two doors down from the Chalou family, spending many a summer afternoon swimming and playing basketball with the Chalou children, he's considered a second son. You'll often see James "air drumming" away as he considers solutions to a particularly specific electrical or security situation.

Rich Hoffman joined B's Electric in 2011 as a Security Alarm Technician. Rich handles our installation and servicing of many accounts. Rich also recently signed up to begin his electrical apprenticeship. Rich handles each customer with the utmost care and by the time he's finished with your particular system, you're sure to be as comfortable with it, as you would be after having it for years.

Anthony Schember was hired in 2012 as an electrical apprentice and security service technician and although he doesn't have direct family ties, well, we feel like we've known him for years. He has an extensive background in exterior entertainment (read: he used to install pools and spas). Anthony is also an expert in personal security. We like having Anthony with us late at night on dark streets, he makes us feel safe.

If you happen to catch us in an office, you may be greeted by the (currently) gummy smiles of our Office Mascot (and Rollie's daughter) Aria Chalou. We like having her around, and while she may let out the B's Electric Holler in the middle of an important phone call or meeting, she's very young and doesn't yet understand office manners.

We truly are a family owned an operated company in every aspect.

Our mission is simple - to provide our customers with the quality they have come to expect from a professional contractor. We aim to provide our customers with top notch service and expertise so you receive the satisfaction you deserve.
